develops and regulates the profession of Company
Secretaries in the country since 1980.

Scope of Company Secretary is becoming very broad with
the growth in the corporate world. One can get into highly paid positions in the private and public sectors ,various banks and financial institutions , the Department of Company Affairs, stock exchanges , company law boards and government departments .

after completion of this course . You may even go for independent practice if you wish to start your own firm.

Career Growth
The job positions begin with Junior Secretarial officer ,
Company Secretary, to the Financial Advisor, keeping in consideration the internal hierarchical order of the
organization . However , with more experience , one can always go higher up the growth ladder leading to heading the Legal department of a firm and even becoming a Director or Managing Director. With the proper set of knowledge and skills , one can easily advance in his / her career in this particular field.

There ’ s no denying the fact that Company Secretary is
one of the best paid jobs in our country . Even those who
have their own practice earn handsomely . A fresher can
easily earn a salary up to 4 - 8 lakhs/annum .
